January features A Penny in Your Pocket: National Juried Exhibition, Part II in the permanent off-campus exhibition space.

Carrying a penny in your pocket into the new year is alleged to bring good fortune and prosperity. The second part in the series, this exhibition explores interpretations of superstition.

Valentine themed art will be featured during the month of February! The opening features complimentary refreshments and music. Explore the marketplace of more than 60 juried-in East TN artists.

Alongside new work from Nick Deford, Vanessa Hartman, and Diahn Ott in the Curio.

Join Dogwood Arts for the Opening Reception of 'Aggregate' a duo exhibition featuring work by Amber Purdy and Carol McCreary. Exhibition on display through February 21st.

Gallery 1010 is the only fully student-run, non-profit, off-campus UTK exhibition space in the state of Tennessee. Gallery 1010 provides a location for School of Art artists to exhibit their work, curate exhibitions, and collaborate with other artists or disciplines outside of the School of Art.

February's exhibition is "What Was, What Is, and What Will Be" curated by Iris Love, Julia Johnson, and Lili Call.

Jason Payne, owner of Smoky Mountain Spice Factory, will be February's featured maker at the Visitor's Center.

For over 22 years, the Pilot Light has been the go-to for independent and experimental music. On Friday, hear performances by David Collins, Schaeffer Mallory, with OMFU (and most likely The Scrapers), and the David Kline / Paul Seguna / Ryan Clacker trio. Tickets at door.

December's featured artist is Ambrose Rhapsody Murray. Murray is a self-taught artist with roots in Florida and Asheville, NC. Through sewing, painting, material experimentation, film and collaborative projects, they create stories to investigate our relationships to the colonial undercurrents of our lives, the charged symbology of black feminine bodies, and the ephemeral and layered qualities of memory and remembering.
