Start your day mural hunting. New murals pop up from local artists all the time, so bring your camera and observe some street art! Make your way through Strong Alley, then head down to the STORIES mural at the Jackson Ave/Gay Street Stairwell to participate in a little scavenger hunt, and swing by #MollyKnox at Boyd's Jig & Reel. Many others will surprise you as you explore downtown on foot.
Tree & Vine (Free)
Then stop by the Tree & Vine on Union Ave just around the corner from Market Square for a free sample of their famous olive oils and balsamics. It's fun to try the different flavors, and you may even go home with a souvenir!
Good Golly Tamale ($5)
Grab a bite to eat Good Golly Tamale, where you can order up a hand-rolled specialty tamale for just $5! The Chicken Tinga and Vegan Soul are two crowd-favorites from this hidden gem in the Old City.
