See the Fall Mural | 2024
The Downtown Knoxville mural signals a change in the season, and we're so excited to bring you the latest edition!
Artist MeganLingerfelt finds inspiration in nature, and has created a quintessentially autumnal piece for the special *20th* Downtown Knoxville seasonal mural.
It’s bursting with rich colors of yellow, orange, and crimson Oak leaves, with a squirrel collecting acorns for winter. The light is coming in a little bit lower and later and it’s time to start thinking about squirreling away whatever you might need for the colder months to come. But first let’s enjoy some perfect days with the blaze of colors in the hills!
The 2024 fall mural—part of Dogwood Arts' Art in Public Places Mural Program—is the 20th in the series by Megan.
The seasonal mural serves as a fun photo backdrop for both residents and visitors celebrating the changing seasons. It's located at the south end of Strong Alley, between Market Square and Gay Street (near local-favorite Coffee & Chocolate).
Grab your photo with this mural the next time you’re in Downtown Knoxville and share on social media using the hashtag #LoveDowntownKnox. Check out a few of our past seasonal murals in the gallery below.
See you downtown for a busy fall! 😎
