We’ve dreamed up all sorts of delightful insta-worthy spots where you can celebrate the holiday and take pics safely with your inner circle. Show your loved ones exactly how you feel—and if you feel a proposal coming on, we encourage you to get carried away! Bring your BFFs, your kids, or a special someone to feel connected to the beating heart of our city.
More than 30,000 red and white lights add winter magic to Peppermint Grove in Market Square, and lights sparkles along pathways and waterways in Krutch Park from Market Square to Gay Street. You'll find Valentine additions for memory-making photos in several locations from February 1 through February 14:
♥️ 1. Open Heart Sculpture – Iconic heart sculpture (illuminated 24/7) is the perfect "I Love You" for photos with friends and family.
♥️ 2. Love Nightscape – Downtown Knoxville mural adds Valentine fun at entry to Strong Alley.
♥️ 3. Old Soul Young Heart – Beautiful red rose mural by artist Megan Lingerfelt brings some romance to the alley by the Oliver Hotel.
♥️ 4. Follow Your Heart – Larger-than-life Valentine by artist David Holland at the Knoxville Chamber on Market Square sends sweet message to Knoxville.
♥️ 5. Love Letter Mailbox – One-of-a-kind candy heart mailbox by artist Paris Woodhull is drop-off for love letters to Knoxville.
